April 27, 2010 - Tito Ortiz, Jenna Jameson make fight public
The he-said-she-said battle between porn star/entrepreneur Jenna Jameson and UFC fighter Tito Ortiz is escalating.
Wearing a wrap on her right elbow, Jenna told reporters Monday that Tito Ortiz had “lashed out” at her, resulting in her father calling 911 and Tito being arrested in Huntingon Beach, Calif., on domestic violence charges.
But after he was released on bail, a teary-eyed Tito and his lawyer held a press conference late Monday in Los Angeles and put the blame on Jameson.
“Jenna has been fighting a battle with OxyContin addiction for the past year. For Tito and her family this has been an uphill battle. Unfortunately this morning she had a relapse,” Ortiz’s lawyer Chip Matthews said. “Tito was trying to help her, she has threatened suicide before. Tito has done everything in his power to protect her privacy and the privacy of their children.”
Jenna told TMZ, however, that Tito was violent – he “threw me into a bathtub” — and that he’s falsely accusing her of OxyContin addiction because he’s “very, very desperate.”

January 26, 2010 - Amy Fisher Stripping For Haiti
from www.thecelebritycafe.com – Amy Fisher, formerly nicknamed “The Long Island Lolita,” is joining the Haiti relief effort to help fund rescue missions, medical teams, and reconstruction projects in the earthquake-stricken region.
However, unlike the throng of celebrities who have pledged their support through Wyclef Jean’s Yele Haiti and appearances at Friday night’s well-publicized Hope for Haiti telethon, Fisher has organized a benefit event of her own, and plans to aid earthquake victims by donating, and matching, tips from several of her exotic dancing shows. Proceeds from her topless performances at Commack’s Scene Restaurant & Lounge will also be supplemented by the restaurant owner and a Long Island radio show host.
Fisher’s husband Lou Bellera spoke out about the fundraiser, emphasizing that these shows are not tawdry acts of self-promotion.
“She’s not a pole-climber,” Bellera told Newsday. “She wears a showgirl costume, but she’s like a politician greeting the crowds.”
Humanitarian stripping is nothing less than what one would expect from Fisher, who has rebuilt her life around a successful career in the adult entertainment industry after spending seven years in prison for first-degree aggravated assault.
Now 35, Fisher first rose to notoriety in 1992 when she shot former lover Joey Buttafuoco’s wife, Mary Jo, in the head. Fisher’s affair with Buttafuoco was investigated by authorities, and based on a hotel receipt dated days before her 17th birthday, Buttafuoco was charged and convicted of statutory rap3. The love triangle immediately became a national sensation, and Fisher’s torrid affair with Buttafuoco was epitomized in several made-for-television films.
Needless to say, it’s a relief to see that the Long Island Lolita’s activities these days are not only legal, but also charitable.

The bread-and-butter work on America’s nude-girl-next-door mag has been done out of editorial headquarters in Chicago, where Hugh Hefner started the thing in 1953 and where he established the original Playboy Mansion. But financial woes for the print industry have sent the company looking for a buyer. It already closed its New York offices, and the New York Post reports that editor Jimmy Jellinek is a frequent flier to L.A., where he meets with the boss.
The Post reports that Chicago staffers had been “bracing for a move to the West Coast” for a while now because of a pending sale. But as the last deal fell through, rumors of a move cooled until recent weeks. “Relocation is back on the table,” the Post reports, although a mag spokeswoman denies it.
January 18, 2010 - Rick’s relaunching Austin gentleman’s club
from www.bizjournals.com – The owners of Rick’s Cabaret Austin have decided to keep the gentleman’s club and reopen with a new concept, following a failed attempt to sell the business.
Houston-based Rick’s Cabaret International Inc. (NASDAQ: RICK) was in line to sell the Austin Rick’s after about a year on the market, but the buyer’s financing fell through, according to a spokesman.
Instead, the company, which reported revenues of $60 million last year, will renovate the entertainment venue with a new, yet-to-be-defined concept. The relaunch is expected sometime this March. Rick’s has owned the club since 2006.
The company also implemented new parking services that transport guests from nearby venues.
Rick’s purchased the Joy club Dec. 21 for $5.2 million and made some cosmetic upgrades and sign changes. It also owns an XTC Cabaret off Springdale Road.
Rick’s employs about 1,100 nationwide and operates nightclubs in New York City, Miami, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, Minneapolis and other cities. It reported $7.6 million net income in 2008.
January 15, 2010 - XTC Cabaret strip club fights San Antonio nudity laws
San Antonio – from www.kens5.com – Another San Antonio strip club is fighting with the city, and it deals with full nudity.
Club owners of XTC Cabaret say their civil rights have been violated and now they’ve filed suit. The city says no fully nude clubs are allowed in San Antonio, but club owners say they’re protected by current state laws, as well as the U.S. Constitution.
The nightclub is located just outside the San Antonio International Airport and has been open for years. City prosecutors say the club is in violation of a human display ordinance which bans all fully nude establishments within city limits.
The owners of XTC Cabaret recently filed suit against the city. They claim the human display ordinance goes against the state penal code, which allows certain degrees of fully nude clubs, as well as their first amendment rights of freedom of expression.
The City Attorney’s office responded by saying the regulation was already upheld as valid by a federal court, and that clubs can continue to operate as long as they do not have individuals appearing all nude.
January 13, 2010 - Man Suing Larry Flynt Hustler Club After 90 Minutes Cost Him $21,000

A Delaware man who says he has no memory of a big night at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club is suing the West Side skin joint, saying he racked up more than $21,000 on two credit cards when all he wanted was a $300 lap dance.
Gerard Wall, 39, swears he doesn’t remember a thing after he agreed to charge his American Express card for a topless bump-and-grind in a private room.
“Plaintiff submitted his American Express card for a $300 charge,” says the suit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. “He did not approve any other charges.”
By the time Wall left the Hustler Club at 10 p.m. on Dec. 12 – two drinks and a mere 90 minutes into his bosom bender – he was so blitzed, the lawsuit says, a club employee had to drive him home.
When he woke up the next day, the suit says, Wall discovered he was missing $80 from his wallet – and sporting $21,620.60 in fresh charges to his American Express and Discover cards.
Wall did not return calls, and his lawyer refused to comment. Calls to the club were not returned.
His suit puts him in the company of other lap dunces who ended up in court after their good times at Manhattan strip clubs. The husband of a Bangladeshi diplomat sued Scores in 2004, charging that the club smacked him with a $129,626 credit-card bill when all he shelled out was $28,000.
A Missouri CEO lost his job a year later when he put a $241,000 tab on his American Express card during a Scores outing, and was sued by the credit-card company for refusing to pay.
